‘We can’t change the world, but we can change the subject’ – James Joyce.

Bloomsday festival is a 5-day event that begins Thursday, 12th June. All events are free and everyone is welcome.

From Thursday 12th to Friday 20th June, a unique collection of paintings of the 19 houses in which Joyce lived will be displayed in the Community Centre. These were painted by Ringsend artist Charles Hulgraine and are the sole collection in the entire world. Each painting is accompanied by the timeline of when Joyce lived there.
