Explore Dublin Port’s and Temple Bar Studios + Gallery art installations on a tour showcasing heritage and contemporary culture
Explore Dublin Port’s vibrant history on an immersive walking tour. Discover hidden gems like the restored substation and the original East Wall while tracing the evolution of the city, its communities, and industries. The tours will depart from the Substation, located at the junction of Alexandra Road and East Wall Road. To access the building, enter the port precinct through the gates located on East Wall Road or Alexandra Road
The tour’s second part will take you from Port Centre to the Pumphouse, once a graving dock area now transformed into a space for the arts. Currently, Temple Bar Galleries presents “Longest Way Round, Shortest Way Home,” featuring two solo exhibitions: “dream sequence” by Yuri Pattison and “Beep Beep” by Liliane Puthod.
Dublin Port Company provides disposable headphone audio systems; alternatively, bring your own with a jack plug, as wireless headphones are not compatible.
