Shipwrecks of Dublin Bay exhibition launches at Dublin Port
18 June 2026

Minister O’Sullivan commented, “Dublin Bay has a rich maritime history and with that comes stories of loss, hardship and heroism. This exhibition shines a light on some of the 900 known wrecks in the Bay and the stories that surround them. I congratulate Dublin Port and the National Monuments Service on this impressive historical collaboration and encourage people to pay the exhibition a visit.”
The exhibition runs from 18 June – 18 September 2026 in the Dublin Port Substation on East Wall Road and is free for the public, open Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 11am – 3pm. It forms part of the Port’s summer events programme for 2026 aiming to foster better Port-City integration and highlight the deep historical connections between the Port and Dublin City.
