Have you seen a numbered goose?/ November 2016

In November the Brent Geese, that spend the winter in Dublin Bay, fly inland each morning to feed on public parks, sports pitches and other amenity grasslands.

Many of them carry coloured rings on their legs. These are part of a study of the movements of these important birds between Ireland and their breeding grounds in Arctic Canada. If you see one of these geese, please send the location, date and letter-number code to grahammcelwaine@btinternet.com.
