OC HMLNS Walrus in Dublin Port/ April 2016
It’s not everyday you can say there is a submarine in Dublin Port.
To mark the occasion The Netherlands Ambassador to Ireland Mr. Paul Schellekens met with Lt. Cdr. Bernard Van De Kraats to present them with a commemorative plaque. Lt. Cdr. Van De Kraats from the Dutch navy and Commander of OC HMLNS Walrus also met with Capt. Fergus Britton Asst. Harbour Master. Members of the public went to Dublin Port last Sunday to see the submarine come into Dublin Port.
