Michael Mckenna (Harbour Master)

Michael Mckenna is Harbour Master at Dublin Port since 2016, he has 25 years of experience in the maritime sector serving on a range of commercial vessels. He is responsible for marine operations throughout the Port’s jurisdiction, encompassing the River Liffey and Dublin Bay, and provides leadership to the multidisciplinary teams responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of pilotage, vessel traffic services (VTS), and towage operations.

Michael holds a MSc in Emergency Management together with diplomas in ship management and nautical studies.
