Ken Rooney (Head of Engineering & Sustainability)

Ken Rooney is Head of Engineering & Sustainability at Dublin Port since 2017. He is a Chartered Engineer, Certified Project Manager and has a diverse background spanning the Oil & Gas, Environmental, and Manufacturing sectors. He holds the position of Energy Performance Officer, driving strategic initiatives in energy efficiency and sustainable development across the port.

Ken holds a BEng in Polymer Engineering from the Technical University of the Shannon, a MEng in Industrial Engineering from University College Dublin and a Post Graduate Diploma in Environmental Engineering from Trinity College Dublin.
