John Fairley (Head of Land Operations)

John Fairley is Head of Land Operations at Dublin Port. With almost two decades of experience in the port and logistics sector, he is responsible for the strategic leadership and delivery of all landside operations, including passenger and cargo activities, policing, security, and emergency management. Throughout his career, John has played a central role in enhancing operational performance and resilience, supporting the continued growth of Dublin Port, and ensuring the safe, secure, and efficient movement of people and goods through Dublin port. He is committed to operational excellence, strong stakeholder engagement, and the delivery of infrastructure and service improvements that support the Port’s long-term strategic development.

John holds a Master of Business Studies (MBS) from the Irish Management Institute in association with University College Cork.
