Fishing Vessel Flotilla | 23rd June 2021

A large number of fishing vessels are planning to visit Dublin Port on Wednesday 23rd of June as part of their ‘Show and Tell’ campaign to raise awareness over fishing rights. It is expected that up to 70 vessels will participate.

For arrival, the flotilla will be split into two convoys. The convoys will assemble in the southern part of Dublin Bay at 22/21:45 and 23/03:10 the convoys will travel up river, transiting the Thomas Clarke (East Link) Bridge and berthing on Sir John Rogerson’s Quay.

 

To facilitate arriving convoys the Thomas Clarke (East Link) bridge will be opened between the hours;

  • 22 June: 22:30 to 23:00 – Large Drafted Vessels Inbound
  • 23 June: 04:15 to 05:30 – All Other Vessels Inbound

 

For departure, the Thomas Clarke (East Link) bridge will be opened between the hours;

  • 23 June: 21:30 to 22:30 – All Vessels Outbound
  • 23 June: 23:30 to 24/00:30 – Remaining Vessels Outbound

 

All vessels will proceed outwards and to sea.
