Explore Heritage & History at Soft Values Exhibition (19th – 23rd August 2025)

As part of Heritage Week, Dublin Port is proud to present a special programme including award-winning lunchtime screenings. Running from Wednesday to Saturday at 12pm and 1pm in the Substation, this week’s focus is on inviting visitors to reflect on the softer values that shape Dublin’s heritage and culture.

The programme showcases acclaimed short films that explore the city’s unique character and maritime heritage, details are listed below. 

• Chancers Guide to Dublin: Produced by Aoife Noonan and directed by Ben O’Connor, is a charming animated film that celebrates the quirks and qualities that make Dublin and its port city setting unlike any other European capital.
• Dublin, Your Face: Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Natasha Waugh and narrated by a dream cast including Colm Meaney, Denise McCormack, and Jim Sheridan. It features a poignant soundscape and magnificent footage that captures the soul of Dublin through the voices and faces of its people.
