Health & Safety

Dublin Port established a health & safety initiative called Dublin SafePort in 2022 with the sole purpose of ensuring Dublin Port is a safe port for all who work and visit.

Dublin Port Company is responsible for the management, control, operation and development of the Port, and your safety is our number one priority as part of operating an efficient and effective facility. Dublin Port is a busy and thriving environment with many hazards and areas of high security. Our Safety Management System is based on the core values and commitments of the Company, as outlined in the Health & Safety Policy:

During your visit, please remain with your guide at all times and follow any instructions provided by Dublin Port staff and the vessel’s crew. The boat tour is operated by Dublin Bay Cruises on board the St Bridget, a passenger vessel fully licensed by the Irish Marine Survey Office.

For your safety, passengers must remain within the designated passenger areas of the vessel and follow all onboard safety instructions, including the crew’s guidance in the unlikely event of an emergency. Life jackets are carried on board for all passengers and crew.
