Traffic Update – Temporary Closures at Alexandra Road – January 2020

Please be advised of the following traffic management changes to the Dublin Port Company (DPC) road network:

Due to operational requirements Dublin Port Company will be temporarily closing the security gates on Alexandra Road between No.2 Branch Road South and No.4 Branch Road South on the upcoming date(s) / time(s):

• Saturday January 25th 2020: 08.00 am to 20.00 pm

As a result there may be some delays on Alexandra Road during these times.  Alexandra Road is no longer closing but will operate on a “Stop / Go “ system

Pedestrians will be able to walk the road in its entirety but will have to pause when the “Stop” is in place.

Vehicles and Pedestrians will be permitted to move freely however there will be occasions when they have to wait when the road is temporally closed to allow cargo move into compounds located on Alexandra Road.
