Dublin Port Company Hosts Two Demonstration Events for European Research Programme EFFORTS
The European Integrated Research Project "Effective Operations in Ports (EFFORTS)" aims to improve the competitiveness of European port operations and the quality of ports labour conditions and market.
The EFFORTS project commenced in May 2006. The research and development programme focussed on three spheres of application
- Navigation in Ports
- Ports and Environment
- Port Organisation
Dublin Port Company had a lead role in the Port Operations and Training & Development modules.
DPC is hosting two Demonstation Events in October
- Noise Abatement October 2nd
- Education and Training October 7/8th
