Dublin Port Company welcomes Seatruck's announcement of a new freight only service linking Dublin and Heysham which will commence on Monday 14th February 2011.
The decision to initiate the service in the current climate was made on the basis of strong demand and firm committment to support the route from a number of operators.
The service will be operated by a single vessel with an expected schedule departing Heyshm at 02:00 hrs and departing Dublin at 14:00 hrs.
To accomodate the new service and the additional business on its Liverpool route Seatruck will move operations to Terminal 5 in Dublin Port located on Alexandra Road Extension.
