Dublin Port Company has been informed by the Minister of Transport, Mr. Noel Dempsey T.D., that Ms. Lucy McCaffrey has been appointed as the Chairperson of Dublin Port Company for a five year term.
Ms. McCaffrey brings 25 years of experience to the role of Chairperson of Ireland's largest port management company. She is the principal and founder of Latitude, a management consulting company and previously worked with Synectics, an international innovation company based in Boston. Lucy also held the position of non-executive director of Dublin Port Company from 1997 - 2002.
A graduate of UCD, her early career was in secondary school and public service management and also served on the board of the Project Arts Centre.
Speaking about the appointment, Mr Noel Dempsey T.D., Minister of Transport said "I am very pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. McCaffrey as Chairperson of Dublin Port Company. She has a highly regarded track record at a senior level in business management in Ireland over many years. I know that she will bring exceptional skill and drive to the role."
