International Ship and Port Security (ISPS)

The Department of Transport & Maritime Affairs has certified all the Terminals and facilities at Dublin Port under the ISPS Code.

Dublin Port will operate at Level 1 unless circumstances dictate otherwise.

All persons within Dublin Port Company's boundary must carry at all times, and produce on request, verifiable photographic identification (Passport, Drivers Licence or Certified Work I.D.)

Persons requesting access to ISPS restricted port facility areas must carry verifiable photographic identification and must state a valid reason for entry into this area. Persons entering such areas are subject to random search of person, personal effects and vehicles.

The members of ships crews coming ashore must carry a pass issued on behalf of the Master stating the name of the seaman, the vessel name and where appropriate it's berth. The pass must be stamped with the vessel's official stamp.
