As with Ro/Ro Dublin is Irelands main Lo/Lo port handling 678,000 TEU's in 2008. This trade is handled at three separate terminals at Dublin operated by Dublin Ferryport Terminals, Marine Terminals Ltd and Portroe Stevedores. There are direct daily services from Dublin to the UK and mainland Europe as well as weekly services to Iberia and the Mediterranean, including the East Mediterranean. In addition there are world wide transhipment services. The Lo Lo mode is growing at over 9% per annum and now accounts for 23% of total throughput.
