Dublin Port Company in 2006 recognised that companies operating within the port estate had a strong need to participate in a training programme. As a result the Company's Training and Development Centre, in partnership with FAS, conducted a comprehensive training needs analysis study to assess the training needs of employees of both Dublin Port Company and companies located within the port estate.

Dublin Port Company has a modern training facility located in Port Centre, Alexandra Road, Dublin 1. The training Centre is a key facility in Dublin Port Company delivering its internal training programme.

The Training Centre is available for use by external companies.
